It was a lovely overcast day for a midday wedding outdoors. With the clouds cooperating, we captured Melissa and Kris’ beautiful day. The event was held in an open field with white folding chairs. The reception had a quaint, rustic feel with wildflowers in the centerpieces. The working vintage typewriter was a lovely touch for guests to leave their reflections. Bella Wedding and Events did an outstanding job coordinating this affair!

After shooting Joe and Destiny’s engagement session a little over a year ago, we were asked back for round two…to capture their wedding day. It was a day filled with family, friends and LOTS of love. Being that it was an outside event, we weren’t sure how the weather was going to hold up. Stephen and I said a little prayer over our couple’s day and as always, our higher power came through. The rain stopped and a beautiful color palette of coral and cream filled the Hilton’s Courtyard. The love these two share is simply transparent, what you see is what you get. Joe with his cool, laid back, charismatic manner and Destiny’s cute dimples and “around the way girl” personality make a great team and best of all….great parents. We wish their growing family all the love and light their hearts can hold.

Saturday was a beautiful day at Gateway Gardens when we got to catch up with The Rios family. The littlest, Joshua was shy. Christopher and his Brother Jacob quickly warmed up to us!
We met Letitia originally as Candice & Ivey’s wedding planner, and now it’s her turn! We met her and her fiance Krys in Winston Salem at Finnigan’s Wake in Winston-Salem, NC. They were a fun couple to hang out with. One of the perks of shooting people is meeting great couples!
It’s great to work with clients over the years and grow with them as their relationships and families grow. We enjoy capturing their milestone moments over time. We were lucky to be there for Kia and Shaun’s Engagement, Wedding and Maternity photos. Always fun catching up with them! We shot them at their home in Huntersville NC, and then at a park in Kannapolis, NC.
We added a little behind the scenes footage to their slideshow and presented it to them as a surprise!
