Mommy & Me: Hanging out with Nichelle & Kieran.

What a treat it was to hang out with Nichelle and Kieran and to see them in their element; being mother and son and HAVING LOTS OF FUN! We’ve watched Kieran grow from being just a little “lump” in Nichelle’s belly to growing into a talkative, smart, funny little guy. It only took him about 10 minutes to warm up to the camera, then he was a completely unstoppable little ham! We hope you guys enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed photographing this mother and son pair!

ConvergeSouth 2013 Event Photography
ConvergeSouth has been one of the premiere events in the SouthEast for Content, Social Media and Web. We attended a few and was honored to be asked to be a sponsor and the official photographer for the ConvergeSouth 2013 Conference. It was held at the Elliott University Center on the campus of UNC Greensboro.
The Tweetup was held the day before at Proximity Hotel’s Printworks Bistro where attendees got a chance to socialize, become acquainted, and catch up.
It was a challenge to cover and soak in all of the amazing information. The toughest thing about these conferences is not being able to be in all simultaneously.

Candace & Otis’s Proximity Hotel Wedding, Greensboro North Carolina
There’s something magical about Sunday weddings. We can never explain it, but there’s this calming, peaceful steadiness in the air. Candace and Otis were an absolute joy to work with, they were open to our ideas and had some great ideas of their own from their engagement session to Candace’s bridal portraits. We captured their “first look” in Proximity Hotel’s Bridal Suite. It was evident that Candace and Otis are the core of a large, loving family. We were honored to document this milestone in their lives.

A Mid-Morning Bridal Session with Candace
The fabulous Proximity Hotel, a gorgeous Vera Wang gown, shoes to die for and one STUNNING bride! I think in all of the history of CharlesMedia’s bridal portraits this was one definitely for the books. Despite a few wardrobe malfunctions and a cut knee :) we are able to show off some pretty AHH-mazing images! Candace was flawless and we can’t wait to share images from her beautiful day with handsome hubby Otis!
