So great to spend time with the VanSluytman family in the Old Salem Historic District of Winston-Salem, NC. Especially when they’re from my hometown of St. Thomas, VI! It was great to find some countrymen to bond with!

What a treat it was to hang out with Nichelle and Kieran and to see them in their element; being mother and son and HAVING LOTS OF FUN! We’ve watched Kieran grow from being just a little “lump” in Nichelle’s belly to growing into a talkative, smart, funny little guy. It only took him about 10 minutes to warm up to the camera, then he was a completely unstoppable little ham! We hope you guys enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed photographing this mother and son pair!
