Carolina Dusk

December 4, 2007 - as I left the office Josh was telling me how beautiful the sunset was. I came around the building and saw the remaining light obscured by trees and skyscrapers. i drove up to the top of the Elm Street parking deck to capture what was left.

as i was leaving, someone else drove up with his camera with the same intentions.

and here’s my faux miniature tilt-shift version

Center City Park

ballet redux

One of the best places in Greensboro to shoot people is on the corner of Friendly and Elm Streets. As long as the weather permits, people of all ages flock there, making it seem like it’s the heart of downtown. It’s so enjoyable to kids that the powers that be respectfully ask that people not play in the fountains.
